Topic: Is there a way possible to get VirtualDJ like?

Hey everyone I have a question, for those who knows Serato and VirtualDJ, is there any way that I could get the samplers on VDJ like Seratos? In Serato you can press the sample button multiple times and it restarts the sample, in VDJ it plays, when you press it immediately after it comes off. Anyone knows if this is possible?

Change the sampler trigger mode to stutter. And voila!

Thanks alot man, but how do you change it to stutter mode?
 
there is a dot on the upper right side,and you right click on it to see the options...:)

Thanks buddy :) but I did do that and it gave me the options, load, save, loop, autoplay, write protected, it doesn't say stutter mode on any one of them!
 
Try reading page 40 of the User Guide....
 
I believe the OP is talking about v7 here judging by the options he's presented with, not v8.

If this is the case then you will have to map something to take advantage of the 'sampler play_stutter' command.
 
But don't stutter that "air horn" sample - it's not big and it's not clever... ;)
 
Okay thanks all, I just got VDJ8 going to play around with it! Thanks. Where could I find the manual of VDJ8? In options?
 
with explorer (if on PC) Go to Documents/VirtualDj....and it should be there as a Pdf file.double click to open with Adobe Reader...
