Hi, using VDJ8, is it possible to highlight songs with different colours that are in the playlist or sidelist view?

Yes you can, but the only way to do it currently is to manually change the colour via the Tag Editor - which will then be permanently assigned to that track unless you change it back.
There's no way to highlight tracks temporarily, or based on certain criteria (such as a particular genre being red for example). No rule/filter based auto colour assignments.
