Topic: Is VDJ7 still available to buy?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Bought a month subscription to VDJ8 to test it out - finding it may be too buggy to use w/video compared to 7. Is V7 still available or is that it?

V7 is still available to existing and new Pro Infinity users.

7 is not available to subscribers and it does not support subscriptions - this was added in version 8.

What bugs are you experiencing with video?

I think what this dude means is- Is the VDJ8 "controller" licensed version that is buggy and (removed) backwards compatible with the Home-VDJ7 that many people download here for FREE as they'd realized VDJ8 is just a (removed)?

I'd also like to know if my VDJ8 "controller" license is backwards compatible with Home VDJ7 too. If I'm forced to buy another Pioneer DDJ-Ergo license for VDJ7 then I'll just use "CD-Frame" search in an old USB portabled version of VDJ7 that I'd made a number of years ago that I keep on my USB.

Also, as stated above the only way to purchase v7 is with an Infinity license, which will give you both 7 and 8.
