Just having my first play around with VDJ 8, setting keys etc. My first disappointment is that, despite the hundreds of options provided, it still doesn't offer the ability to custom sort in the sidelist/automix list. Yes, of course I can move my tracks up and down to place wherever I want as a Playlist and they will remain there, but if I happen to click one of the headings then VDJ will sort according to the heading and there goes my playlist order. Not many people plan ahead and set a playlist order prompt these days?

Have you tried clicking on the small square left of artist (or the first labled column) in the headings?

Yes, that sorts by file type, video, audio etc.

Then try right-clicking on the header and choose "restore sort order" at the top of the context menu.
