Topic: Turn off Auto Sync Function

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I just purchased djay for Mac v4.2.2 to dj for a friends wedding tomorrow. Tonight at the rehearsal dinner I found that when switching between songs it would sync the beat and screw up the songs. I have scoured the internet for an answer but I have come up short. Someone please help me.

Did you try http://community.algoriddim.com/algoriddiml in your scourings?

You know the people who actually make & support djay.
How about the manual?, it's usually in there. Where have you been looking? It seems all the wrong places.

Hello New Licensed User, and welcome to the Virtual DJ Family: Most of the functions can be turned off or on in the "Settings" part of the software, just go to the tab located at the top of the program and access that feature..I know it may look like you are not getting anywhere..believe my you are. The setting's feature is the "star shape" icon at the top right hand of the screen..highlight that and it'll show up as settings. Go to Options tab and select the "Audio Folder", look for "Auto BPM Match"...it should be auto set for "smart" by default, highlight that, and click "no"...that's it..hope I was able to help you out.
