Well, say what you like about the scratching, but the man knows how to drive a guitar. Hats off to you sir.

Yeah but playing alongside to the same tune and one that is in your head don't seem to matter to some folk...

yeah but you got some serious dj stuff...and knowledge of how it works.if I try to catch up I'll go nuts! forget the fustrations, dont need that when you have ambition.keep rocking and learning in this journey, cause it never ends...more surprises are just around the bend..

Ok.. back from the dead for this one...

thetracker510...

If there is a price for horrible taste in graphics, ignoring rhythm, ignoring key and brute force instrument and gear playing... you win!

Than again.. if there would be a price for most tireless perseverance and utmost out of this world ignorance of (self) comment .. you double win!

Cheers to that ;)

And I guess god made you the mr.knowitall judge here?...where's your video?

If there is any doubt in what is possible when you know what your doing. Watch this DJ kill it with a mouse and keyboard.

nope I am old enough to whip you lets just say...and I have payd too many dues.a lot of you guys have'nt,so you can talk a lot of $#% because you lack real knowledge..I'm not afraid to post such a obvious moving subject because thats how I was taught in the hood.they would whip you if you couldnt prove what you are about..you want another pm?

That will be enough. JB, if you get any more PM's from him like this please forward them to me and I will give him a break.

sorry "homeboy"..you should delete their insults to me first...I've payd my dues around here also..

No one threatened you, they provided feedback. The topic is closed.

Wild thread..

I must apologize to all those concern.but be forwarned...do not get under my skin...I have training..:)

Ok so on a Lighter note...since people are using others videos to show me their point.I will be the first to stomp on my own ego and post something that has been amusing me.but at the same time its giving me "nightmares".see it started when I also purchased this "Groove synth" a couple of months ago.for those who dont know "Groovesynths" Are synths that can loop a phrase (a musical passage) on the fly and are intended for dance music and Dj's in general (yes, you're "supposed" to run to the local music store and get one,if you dont..you're out of the Race...Ha!)...so.... Here its mine...

But then...as I'm looking for info on the Keyboard on youtube....I find this....Ladies & Gents...I present to you..DJ INFERNO...who has toured with MADONNA, is 20 years younger than me.....and is giving me nightmares right now.proving that Dj's with more tricks up their sleeves get the Gig...or that the wave to the Future is in the interactive Dj,take your pick.
BTW this is at "Unique Squared" music store in New York is the offspring of Unique studios (Alias Midi city) once in 47th st & 7th ave during the 80's,Home of the Hits, among others Afrika Bambaataa's PLANET ROCK,and countless early "Electro" hits that was the foundation for techno,house..and that I was lucky to wonder into as I was passing demos to producer Chris Barbossa while he was still recording "Shannon" but that's another story...check out this dude...thats what I'm talking about...

dang! whatda? as it is I'm still trying to familiarize myself with this keyboard.Casio has a tendency to be able to beat the price barrier at the same time being inovative.but in return they make the control menus rather hard to navigate and will take some time to get familiar with...

did you just hijack your own thread?
if it's the same type of training you've had as a dj then we have nothing to worry about
if we were to add up all the combined years of experience of the people who tried and apparently failed to get through to you past your own opinion or self-image of what you thought you were doing it would probably be a pretty good sized number.
there are a lot people who dedicate themselves to their craft in these forums and give up things normal people would quit over, talented people who've made this their career in spite of the considerable number of hours involved that they don't get paid for, and yes many talented "bedroom dj's" who do it for a hobby but who's skills SHOULD be on the market because they're bloody fantastic!

you come up here on the forums posting quite often and constantly interjecting opinion (and name dropping your computer like it was anything to be proud of or make us jealous - seriously it's not high school. we don't care) and after these exchanges on here I almost hope this thread gets removed completely - almost. or left as an abject reminder of what NOT to do. how many people are going to watch those videos and think - i'm supposed to listen to this guy for advice?! and then move on? these are not a good reflection on virtual dj as a professional's software.
and you said you were going to be doing studio work. okay fine, but if I was a prospective client and saw that video (or the others online for that matter) I would run screaming in a different direction.

what really blows some of us away is that you absolutely refuse to listen to those years of experience and still maintain that what you did was something we should appreciate.
and then to rabidly defend them like a mother bear over her cubs, attack people who try to help or offer constructive criticisms?
