I guess we can't say you can only download VDJ in this site cause Pro users also has to go to Cnet to download it.

I felt safer when I downloaded it here under My Account, instead why are we getting directed to Cnet?

This is because everyone uses the same version now.

Home, Home Advanced and Pro.
The differences are unlocked when you log in.
