I'm kinda new to the DJ scene but my friend uses traktor and showed me this amazing gater effect and I was wondering if I could get it for VDJ? I saw a post that someone made of it, but it said I needed a registered license to download it or whatever. Is there anyway someone could send it to me or send me a similar gater effect

No one will send you the effect.
You need to purchase a license in order to download effects and other add-ons to Virtual DJ.
