Hi all,
Since switching to controllers I haven't had reason to lay hands on a CDJ, but the place I'm playing tonight really wants me to just plug into their system so I'm looking for advice on the best way to set this up. I'll be plugging into 2 CDJ 2000's (non-Nexus) and a DJM 900 Nexus and I need to run video. I really don't want to use timecode.
What drivers, mappers, etc should I install?

I don't own the controllers myself.
But if you have the latest version of VDJ installed you should be fine for mappers as they are built in.
As for drivers, give this a look: http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/support/software/CDJ-2000/page.html

I should add I'm using a Win 8.1 PC by the way...

yes you can use 8.1 just make sure you have the latest drivers for pioneer

I would recommend trying to get into the club off hours to do your setup. Hopefully with an internet connection. That way you can work out any bugs and test it for more then an hour. I've had issues with the Pioneer WDM drivers. I recommend setup up the ASIO.

A Man and His Music
I know that my club owner has some CDJ he got from a club that closed, and is trying to put them in. I have seen them, and think they should be sent back to Pioneer for cleaning. What a mess. Who plays on equipment like that. Good luck and let us know how things go. I may need some advice.
