Why can't I get my database to stay in the E drive? It resets everytime I go into the program, and defaults back into the c drive

You will have a database on every drive where your music is stored in addition to the C: drive. (assuming C:\ is where Virtual DJ is installed)
So you could have 2 external drives, they would both have their own database file, in addition to the one on the C:\
