Hi Just purchased Virtual DJ Pro and want some instruction as to how I would get virtual DJ to work with Pioneer DDJ-SX...Thanks

Simple steps:

1) Go to your download center http://dev.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
2) Download and install VirtualDj 7.4.1
3) Install Pioneer ASIO drivers from the CD that come with your controller
4) Connect your controller on your PC
5) Start VirtualDj
6) Open Config
7) On Audio setup select:
Inputs: None
Outputs: Headphones
Soundcard: ASIO -> Pioneer ASIO
Master 1-2, Headphones 3-4
8) Click "Apply"
9) Go to Performances tab
10) Make sure that latency is set to "Auto" *
11) Click Ok to close config.

12) Enjoy!!!


*PS: If the latency was NOT on auto then you might want to restart VirtualDj after closing config to force VDJ to refresh the latency setting of Pioneer ASIO drivers

Thanks for your help...Ok, I have done as you suggested, but the channels are turned down and sound is coming through as if they were up...Any ideas?

Do you have to download the firmware from the pioneer website?
