Tried looking and testing a few, but are there any skins that can be used with a x768 laptop display where the record case is bigger and the top section ( controls) are smaller
Would like this to take up less space

Appreciate i can always use browser zoom though. My pet hate (one of them) with laptops is the screen size, guess i could use external monitor though

X768 displays have been obsolete for some time and skins haven't been released in that resolution for a while. Must be a really old machine you are running?

brand new, so hardly obsolete ,most are that res 1366x768 at least all the ones i have looked at. The others were 1600 x 900 pixels.
Just looked again most are at 1366x768 with 15inch monitors unless i spend over a grand on one and that won't happen
May just hook it up to a monitor via hdmi
If i opted for a more expensive one with 1920 x 1080 i would need a telescope to read it lol

Ah, I thought you meant 1024x768

There are some skins with more browser but 768 is not very deep.

Having 1920x1080 actually works well and isn't as small as you think.

The ones i see with that res are basically priced high because of the res, machine spech not that much better. Might just get a 22 inch touch screen. I don't do video so no point over Specifying things. Got an i3 processor, 1TB disc and 8Gb ram, should be enough for audio

Its not a matter of resolution actually. Its more a matter of screen/monitor size. So with a 17" or 19" monitor, you will get more lines of Browser than a 15" one.
If you still need a skin with more browser and less controls/buttons space, with your current monitor size, then most likely you will need to choose a "minimal skin" with not all the buttons/controls, but certianly all the information you may need to mix properly.
You dont really need all of them in your skin.

Skins with 1366x768 : http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/skins.html?category=all&order=default&resolution=1366&search=

My proposal : http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/12743/Dark_Minimal_X-Wide.html Its available at 1600x900 and you can easily resize it to 1366x768 using the Skin Resizer Tool (same ratio 16:9)

I made my spacesaver skins for 1366x768 intentionally with a larger library.
