Is it possible to have VDJ radio playing through one of the channels on VDJ.

Thanks.

Just wondered if this was possible. I wanted to listen to the radio, while playing background music to the guests during dinner.

Thanks.

I havent tried it but if you have 2 laptops this should be possible. On 1 machine youd be playing VDJ Radio and just use a cable with an 1/8 jack on each end with 1 end coming from the headphone jack. Now youd plug the other end into your line in on the machine running VDJ PRO. Next open VDJ's Advanced Config and set up a Line-in on the deck of your choice.

In theory this should work, as for doing it all on the same machine I'd have to mess around with it a little to see what I could come up with. But it should defiantly work with 2 machines/laptops.

Hope that helps........

If you use an external Soundcard this shoud be no problem. Use the external one for your customers and the internal one from the Computer together with a Headphone for your own Radio ;-)

Thanks for the replies, but I was wondering if you can embed vdj raidio into vdj itself. like a plug in.

Thanks.

If you have configured vdj to use an external sound card or even better if you are using an external mixer, and the PC's internal sound card is not being used, you could use windows media player or winamp to play vdj radio and with a RCA cable you could route the internal sound card to the mixer/external sound card to bring vdj radio to the main master.

ill wait for vdj8… i have to have my vdj connected to my decks, so it doesn't stuff up my config.
