Topic: Numark NS7 FX bar default mapping question

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Is there anyway to change the default mapping to Player A and Player B instead of Video transitions and forgot the what the other side does, I don't have it in front of me. You have to toggle the deck selection switches on the FX bar to make it Deck A and Deck B.
I always forget to change it at start up and blow up my mix out expecting a filter to be there. Because of this I don't even use it.

Adding this action..
deck 1 set 'modeA' 1 & deck 2 set 'modeB' 2
to the ONINIT key of the NS7FX, should do the job.
 
I haven't tried it yet, my NS7s have been rented out for some shows. Once I get them back will test.
