Hi Guys,
I've had a look around but been unable to see a specific price for this. My brother uses Pro Basic just now but the family are hopefully going to get him a midi-controller for Christmas. I was just wondering how much extra I will need to factor in for the upgrade in software? I don't have his serial number so I can't put it in the upgrade box on the site, and I don't want to give the surprise away.

The discount is $99, so the full Pro would cost $200 instead of the full price of $299
If you are purchasing a MIDI controller and it comes with VirtualDJ LE included, then depending on the controller, the discount might be more than this. For some hardware, the discount can be as much as 50% ($149)
NOTE: Only one discount can be applied when upgrading.

Ok, thanks for that. Funny you should mention about the controller - we are likely going to be getting him the Denon MC6000 which comes with Virtual DJ LE in the states, but Traktor here in the UK. It will just add insult to injury if A we can't get the software he uses with the controller due to location and B if the full version would be cheaper if we had been able to get the version we want.

Unfortunately, we have no control over the software that manufacturers decide to bundle with their products in each country.
Before purchasing, you could contact the manufacturer Denon to see if they will be willing to swap Traktor LE for VirtualDJ LE.

Oh I know, it's just annoying. Thanks for that, I might give Denon a try. Is the upgrade price different from LE to Full Pro then?

The upgrade prices from LE versions to Pro Full, depend on the controller that came with. Please contact Support to find out the upgrade price for the units you are interested in .
