hello Im hopeing to make my roland sp 555 act as a midi fighter. I have been told i can do this buy changeing the definition file the roland sends. Any information on this would helpfull thankyou.

What you want to do is download the mapping you want, install it, then open the definition file in a text editor like notepad. You need to change the contents of the "device" line to match the roland, the instructions of how to get that are in the link.

Then you want to download miditrace and change the midi messages vdj receives to match the roland.
