I have Numark Cue version 7.0.5 (b370) installed on both laptop and a desktop machine.
When I try to play a file on the laptop I get an error message saying "Invalid version of DirectX. Please install at least DirectX v9.0c." I know that DirectX is correctly installed. I have tried a factory reset but no improvement.

Your DirectX is out of date.

Or you may get this issue if you're running your laptop on battery.
