there are some applications on Mac side, but i doubt if anyone can help you from here, since most of use map devices on Windows and Miditrace/Hidtrace/Midi-OX

Does the Mac version of VDJ not have the same MIDI learn capability as the PC version?
You should be able to just plug the Z2 in (once it's in MIDI mode), go to the mapping tab under the VDJ config and start mapping the Z2 controls to VDJ functions.

You need to make a definition if you want to use LED's groovin. I can't imagine spending all that cash on a Z2 without wanting to leverage the RGB LED's.
