This is a general question. I'm planning to buy two Denon DN-SC2000 and use them with my x-1700 mixer. Is there any problems I should be aware of? Midi-mapping problems? I want to use them as deck 1-3 and deck 2-4. Click-noise? Is this a good solution and possible? Thx for all inputs!

Only thing that I have seen is that some don't come with the correct midi channel on them so will have to change midi channel on unit that don't communicate with VDJ if it does not communicate with VDJ. Other than that will work with VDJ with no issue. I really don't know how 4 decks work with them since I just use 2 decks with them but they do work with 4 decks.

I have the same setup except with an X1600 and it works great. Just remember this order to get things going: 1) Mixer on. 2) Load Virtual. 3) Plug in one the 2000's and let it boot. 4) Plug in the other one. If you plug them in before you load Virtual you will sometimes get strange results.

Yes as above make sure that you start VDJ before plugging in your SC2000 as you might get VDJ not picking them up. As for me all I have to do is unplug them and plug them in and works great, but to avoid that make sure they are unplugged when starting VDJ.
