First of all Relax....... the support from Atomix is very helpful, also you will find that most of us on here will try and help you as well, ok with that being said....
You're running windows vista....... that in itself can be a problem Vista has A LOT of tasks running in the background that you probably aren't aware of, you need to check and see what and how many programs are running in the background. I have seen over 100 processes running at once on Vista add VDJ with video and you will have issues!
You need to optimize your computer ( stop the programs you dont need running while you are djing and turn off Vistas Aero mode )
You upgraded your video card, according to the pc specs you posted you have a 300 watt power supply, if youre taxing your pc that power supply is on the low side and will cause problems
Upgrading from Vista to Windows 7 64-bit would help, I am personally not a big fan of amd processors, but that's just my opinion

did you made the video settings with the registry tool
and can you please post a screenshot of your videosettings in VDJ...?

I bought the same graphics card as an upgrade from my AMD HD5xxx series card only to have the same issue as you're having, so i ended up sticking with my previous card and using the HD6xxx card in my media centre.
If anyone can come up with a solution to this id like to see as the newer of the 2 cards has a HDMI port instead of a 'Display Port'

Lass,
Please start your own thread for your issue, this has nothing to do with Spark's video issue.
In fact I'll make it easy for you. Click here to start your own thread.
