Topic: Laptop Volume question

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

When using a controller I obviously would need to turn the volume on the laptop off correct?

I know its a dumb question but I am just wanting to double check

It won't matter, if you are using an external sound card then all sound will be routed there and the laptop's internal card just won't be used.
