Download the audio drivers from Numark http://www.numark.com/support/downloads
Also download the mapper http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/15711/Numark_MixTrack_PRO_II.html

I know this will sound like the universal fix technique... But have you unplugged it and plugged it in again? It works for me when it doesn't play sometimes. Good luck!

Yep I've done that a couple of times then it would either work on both sides for a little while or it would just work on one side or not at all

Please make sure your Mixtrack isn't set as standard audio device in your OS.

There is no driver for the Mixtrack Pro. It's a class compliant audio interface. It doesn't need a driver.

The most common reason for a 'play' button not to work is an incorrect sound configuration. What is your sound setup in 'config' set to?

Just a thought - have you tried it in both vinyl and CD modes?
Sometimes, if I'm wearing the wrong trousers, or wrong socks, or whatever, a static charge builds up which renders my jog wheels useless. The music plays when I touch the jogwheel, and stops when I take my hand away.
The only fix is to earth somewhere, or play in CD mode, which is ok, but not what I prefer.
Last resort - try taking your shoes and socks off..?
Crazy, yes, but also true.

Sound setup is Input: None......Output: Headphones (Master Chan 1&2 Headphones Chan 3&4) and the sound card is set on Numark

Change everything!
I have mine set to Advanced, with ch 1&2 being master output, and 3&4 to headphones.
