Topic: My head is gonna explode need help!

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am ready to buy a controller but I am sure which to get and I know I have already posted asking about a couple different ones

As I've stated before I currently use my laptop which I run the sound thru a Numark iCDMix3....I will keep using the iCDMix3 because I like the comfort of having my cd's as backup

So which controller would be best to purchase as I will continue to run sound thru the iCDMix3 and this will be my first ever controller purchase

Please help!

This: http://www.thomann.de/gr/pioneer_xdj_r1.htm
And no need for Numark cds anymore ;)

It's something more than a noob needs but you wont change it for a loooong time.

Thanks for the info and it looks awesome however from what I can see it way out of my price range

I'm looking for something in the $200-$300 range

One of the best selling controllers is the Numark Mixtrack Pro. No ASIO but at that price something has to give.

Take a look at the Reloop Beatmix or Hercules RMX 2.

I have a Pioneer Ergo V that does the job for me for small parties and radio stuff and I think it's in your price bracket (ish)

I guess that's something you say at the beginning...
I'd say DDJ-Ergo V too....

"what's a cd?"

If I were you I'd start out with the Numark Mixtrack Pro II. Use that until you're comfortable and know everything about DJing. Then later, if you like, you can switch to a larger controller.
