Topic: Rating System

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

So i go through itunes and rate the songs in my collection Open VDJ and it doesn't recognize the ratings...so know i have to do it all over again? Am I missing something ? Doing it on VDJ is to much, doesn't seem to let me click on a star level i have to open File infos to change it. Is there a short cut or mapping i can use to make it easier to set ratings?

Currently VirtualDJ does not support reading rating from the tags of files, but this should be possible in a future version of the software.

Also, iTunes does not write the rating back to the tags of the files. It stores it within its own internal database only.
