Topic: Music videos lag on VD

While playing music videos on a monitor I mounted to a truss, the video lags. The music s pays fine but its not in sync with the video. How do I fix ths?

What kind of laptop & specs? HDMI or VGA out?
 
As above, specs required - most importantly video card.
