Hi, I have Virtual DJ Pro Full, and I have the latest driver installed on my macbook for the Hercules RMX here: http://ts.hercules.com/eng/index.php?pg=view_files&gid=17&fid=62&pid=215&cid=1

I followed the instructions they gave me and but Virtual DJ will still not recognize the RMX being plugged in. I keep refreshing the Mapper option in VDJ but it still only shows the keyboard. Help please.

Please register your Pro serial number to your account http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest version from the Download Center: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

If you have not purchased VirtualDJ Pro then please support the software and its future development by purchasing it: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html (Especially if you are working DJ and are making money as a result of using it at your gigs.)

If your RMX came with VirtualDJ LE/Console Edition, then its serial number should entitle you to a discount off the cost of upgrading (Providing that it's not second hand and has not already been used.)

@DJ Phatso Okay well, it shows up under the System Profiler as connected, but it does not show up at all under the Audio/MIDI. It doesnt show up as a Audio Device nor a MIDI Device connected.

Here's my other problem. I installed the drivers and I've located the RMX control panel, but I cannot edit any of the settings inside of the control panel.

It is definitely not installed properly.

Which version of OS X are you running and what is your MacBook model?

Is the Rmx a new purchase or have you used it before on other computers?

Have you tried another USB port/cable?

Im using Version 10.5.8 and yes, I bought this item used and no, I have not tried a different USB cable. I've only used the one included, which has a staples logo on it so, its obviously not the original.

I got it to work. The USB cable was the problem. Thanks for the advice though guys.
