Topic: Which video codecs are used? (Windows 7 VDJ 7.4)

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I am wondering, which video codecs are really used, when set to 'Video decoder' in the settings/codecs. Some time ago, VDJ support told me about VDJ internal codecs will be used. But this setting was named 'Internal Video Decoder' before, and is now named 'Video Decoder'.
There are also people saying, they installed a codec pack in Windows and got videos running without changing anything in Virtual DJ.

Can somebody answer me this question, please?

'Video Decoder' uses the internal VDJ video decoder.
