Which VDJ version is better to use; VDJ LE or VDJ Home?

Define "better"....
The LE version supplied with a controller is "better" than the Home version, because it allows you to use a controller.

How are you planning to use VDJ with your external mixer?
Do you want to send the output of each VDJ deck to a separate input channel of your mixer, so you can cue on the mixer?
Check the VDJ feature comparison chart http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html
You can see that some versions support "master & headphone" output (cue using the software) and others support separate deck output (cue on your external mixer).
