i was thinking of getting this http://www.yourdjdrops.com/detail/?npid=239. Then say connect connect my pc to a projector run the video of virtual dj and have the video pointed at the ceiling ??

Yes it can be done.... TV or projector.
Do you have a projector and do videos? The question sounds like your'e unsure... and why point at the ceiling, no screen or wall to shoot on?
