Yes so how do you guys deal with this? I have a Cinco de Mayo gig(outside)which starts early around 10AM. I will be using daylight skin but will raising screen brightness be enough?
Any thoughts are welcome, Thanks!

Completely 100% outside, or are you under a gazebo?
If you're using a laptop, it'll be easy enough to move it around as the sun moves. You can also make a little sunshield for it from card, plastic sheet etc. which creates a top and sides for the screen.

Make sure you get a black non reflective material or you'll be very hard pressed to see what's in your screen info, it's happen to me also...
You could find the material you need in an art store for pick up.
Good Luck.

I highly recommend the DAYLIGHT skin from DJDad... http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/14495/DayLight.html
I've used this outside for Pool Parties and it certainly helps my eyes from straining.

Thanks guys. There were some good ideas. I'm on PC. I will be looking into that non reflective material for future outside parties.
I went prepared with quickly made shield. Fortunately the weather was unfavorable for outside so we took everything inside. I hate outside parties but sometimes people don't want to pay for a dance hall:-(
