You should send a PM to superaceman - possibly your device ID is different.

What seems to be the problem (other than just saying "it doesn't work")?

Can you see how the device is detected (named) ?
Goto Applications-->Utilities-->Audio Midi Setup
From the top menu choose Window-->Show Midi Window
We will need the exact name (case sensitive) of the Launchpad device
If not sure, post a screenshot of that window

thanks

Ok, open the definition file with Text Editor (it should be in VirtualDJ/Devices folder ) and add ..
macdrivername="Launchpad S" in the 2nd line of the file.
So it should look like...

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<device ............ type="MIDI" decks="1" vid="0x1235" pid="0x0020" macdrivername="Launchpad S" >

Make sure VirtualDJ Home folder is the one you have the files. /Documents or /Library .. If you are not sure, add the files to both folders.

Sorry, this forum is for English language messages only.

Please either post your message again in English or use the appropriate language forum at the bottom of http://www.virtualdj.com/forums to post in your own language.

NOTE: You need to be a registered licensed user of the full VirtualDJ Professional to be able to download custom mappers and/or use other MIDI controllers besides your Beatmix. VirtualDJ LE for Beatmix will only work with that controller (Except during the 20 day trial of the full Pro.) You can upgrade to the full Pro at a discount by going to http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

HELP NEEDED

Hi everybody

Plugged my launchpad S in and the keys are working.
But I see no lights.

Tried it with ableton - there the lights are working.

I have a 7.4 professional VDJ
After installing the plugin i find "devices: LaunchPad S OPD device.xml"
and "Mappers: Launchpad S OPD Mapping.xml"

The data comes from Launchpad ---> VDJ
But the other direction seems to be broken.
So no lights are on, instead of one: If I press the "session"-button it lights.

Any help is very welcome
Thanks
Svenino

If I use the old Version "install_Novation_Launchpad" (without "S")
and change the ID from pid="0x000E to pid="0x0020
the lights are ON!!!
But how about the new version?

So the original Launchpad OPD mapper works if you change the pid?

yes it works, but the new version of Your plugin doesn´t.
And the Beatgrid and the levelmeters are really amazing, would love to have them.
And the colors are to handle much easier wirh the new one.
There must be some problem with the definition-file?

Thank You
