Topic: Help for a noobie?

Hey, I recently just started taking interest in mixing and DJ'ing as all I really do with my time is listen to a lot of the old-school hip hop (J. Dilla, De La Soul, Onyx, Wu-Tang, Jeru, Tribe etc.) and I'm just looking for tips on sampling, mixing etc. to start me off. Would be much appreciated!
