On the American Audio VMS4.1/VMS4 there is a "shift" button.

If you take another controller, like the allen & heath 4d, that doesnt have a "shift" button, but only normal midi on/off buttons.
Is it then possible to map a "shift" action to a button by using some kind of code in the A&H4d mapping in vdj?

I'm trying to make a single button work the same way on A&H4d, as the "shift" on the VMS.
So i can press it + another button ?
Just like the HC1-4 works on the vms with/without the shift
