Minimal 2 deck skin mainly for timecode/controller setups. Only available in 1280x800 atm this may change when V8 comes along.

Good work.

One observation regarding the layout.

You will need to provide additional resolutions, actually different ratios. Version 8 will resize the skin, by resizing proportionally the elements above Browser, and will fill the gap with more or less browser.
The way the skin is designed it will not get resized well.
But of course, thats just a tip for the near future.

Thanks, I am hoping some things from djdecks get included in VDJ8 like moveables, they are like anchors which you can link elements to, they can be moved and move in proportion to the size of the window making things like this Dunks1990 skin possible:



If they are included making this 1991 skin resizeable will be a piece of cake.

Awesome skin. It's pretty much exactly what I was always looking for. Are you planning to make a 4 Deck version too?

Is this a set layout or can I move the platters to the middle ?

Thanks, At the current resolution 4 decks at once would cramp the browser although 3 could work, I may make a button that toggles decks A-B to C-D.

No, it's simply a aesthetic thing. I would just have to get used to the platters together on the one side.
I'll give it a go and see how I like it. Looks pretty cool.

You should seriously consider that toggle button. (No need to hurry, though.)

I am, I like to use 3 decks on occasion. Also thinking about a toggle for rythmzone.

Yup, now it really is the perfect skin for me. Thanks for including 4 decks.
(But in danger of looking dumb: What are the S R A buttons on top for? They don't do anything for me. Is that a timecode thing?

BTW, if I can make one suggestion: There is this reset button in the middle of the pitch fader. When you click it, the tempo of the track jumps immediately back to 100%, but in most skins it slowly fades back instead, which is in my opinion a much better option. I can live without it, but if you could change this, in case you are working on an updated version, it would be nice. :)

Cool, thanks. And no need to hurry. It's not something that I use every day either, but I learned that there are moments where it comes in very handy.
