Hello everyone. I'm trying to figure out how to activate the Deep Blue Glitch V1.3 VST in virtual dj. It shows up on my Sound Effects list but when I try to activate it, it does not do anything?

I have the same issue , Once we get this figured out I have 12 more to add.. I added 20 last night and 8 didnt work...I cant wait till ver 8 as I want to put the effects on a second or third screen..

VSTi's (instruments) won't work in VDJ, as they are designed to generate sound.
Only VST effects (that pass through sound) can be used in VDJ.
Also, there are different VST specifications. The original was of course v1, but there's also v2, v2.4, v3 and v3.5.
I don't know whether VDJ is bang up to date in that respect, so it's possible that some effects won't work due to spec clashes.

Do you have any other VST host that you can try it on? Maybe it's because some of your system files are not up to date...
If it works when used in other s/w then it's down to VDJ.
