Hi!
Im a newbe to all what dj is all about, i have Numark dmc-2 + CM200USB mixer.
Im thinking about buying a Virtual prodact, which one ?
One other thing, i have a lot of samplings and drumloops in my computer, can i use them in this software and can the software automaticly change bpm of the drumloop if i want to play it in background ?
How many samplings can i play at the same time ?
Thanks in advance!

If you want to use the DMC2 with VDJ, you must buy the Full Pro version. Other versions do not support controllers.
You can play 12 samples at one time using the sampler.
Unfortunately the sampler will not sync the tempo of drumloops unless they have been played in a deck first and recorded into the sample slot.

But if i lets say make a drumloop with dmc2 that goes in 130 bpm, can i then record it and save it to Virtual DJ sampling list and then use it later in a song that goes 140 BPM and Virtual DJ automaticly change the BPM to 140 ?

Yes that's the way it's designed to work.
step 1 - load a song to a deck
step 2 - loop a section of that song
step 3 - record the loop into a sampler slot
step 4 - save the loop as a sample
Then the saved sample should play in time to tracks loaded in the decks (if you have the correct options selected in the sampler).
Hopefully VDJ 8 will have a better sampler!

Ok thanks :-)
Can this be tried in the demo version or do i have to buy the full version to try how this is working?
So when is the next version 8 planned to come ?
I only have Cue Le now, will that give me any discount if i buy full version of VDJ ?
Thanx in advance!

You can try it out in VirtualDJ Home FREE, but your DMC-2 will only work for 10 minutes at a time.

Yes, there should be a discount available to upgrade. Simply go to http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html and enter your CueLE serial number in the box provided to find out how much.

If i want an external sampler that works with vdj and can change bpm of the samplers, will that be a smart thing to buy or ?
If so, which sampler would be good to buy? I want to be able to change tempo of the drumloops and so on of course.
Or is it better to sellmy equipment and try to find something better with built in sampler, is there any good ?

How about the Roland SP-404SX?

But can i on that change bpm on thoose drumloops that i have in my computer to match the songs played in vdj?
or can i make a loop in vdj and transfer it to 404 and then change bpm?
Hmmmmm, this will be to complicated for me i think, at least it sounds very complicated :-)
only what i want is to get samplers and drumloops and get them match to 100% with the songs in vdj :-)

Yes you can change the BPM of the samples on the SP404. It has a tap button and you can also set the BPM with a dial.
You can transfer samples from a computer onto the SP404 or you can record from your mixer.
Another option is to use Ableton Live software for samples, and sync Live to VDJ using ReWire.
If you do this, the CBG (beat grid) tempo information from tracks playing in VDJ is sent to the slave software (e.g. Ableton Live).
Read about ReWire

This sounds even more complicated :-)
Let see, maybe its easier to handle all drumloops and samplers direct from vdj.

Hi again :-)
What about mapping, how is that works and do i need to download it for my DMC2 z
Im a little affraid that my equipment (cm200usb + numark dmc2) will be to old for VDJ soon, will this work with VDJ 8 or is it time for me to upgrade?

VDJ8 should pretty much be backward compatible with older equipment so no worries there.
