Hi all
The other thread just reminded me of this...
Sometimes for no apparent reason, when loading sample wave files into the selected sample position... the sample doesnt load.. it just comes up with empty...
Is there a max sample length or a max filename character length stopping said sample from loading..
The samples play fine in other media players...

Hmmm might have worked this one out..
Some of the samples are only recorded at 20kbps..11khz
What is the minimum guys

I havent tried the sample player yet, and I have many samples with different bit rates and sample rate.

Whats the min bitrate-freq etc i can use samples and soundbites in VDJ.
I have a few themed parties coming up where i often use 'theme related' clips and soundclips etc...
Can't believe this is a difficult one to answer...

I spoke to Steph tonight about this. He would like you to send the sample to a teamer so they can analyze the file and try to determine the problem. You can send the sample to anyone of the teamers just be sure to let them know why as they are not aware of the situation. You can send it to me at djhomeboy@virtualdj.com

I have noticed this problem as well, occassionally it will cause VDJ to crash, and when you try o restart VDJ it will crash until you move or delete the sample. I have been trying to isolate the problem, I thought at first it was file size, when I tried to load a sample over or close to a MB but I am able to get some of those to work, then I thought it might be what the sample is recorded at, I am still trying to see the limitations on this, as I have a wide range of samples at different ranges. When I figure out something I'll post it. But as stuxx said, it works fine in other players.
