So i'm just curious as to how some of you keep your music. I started out years ago being organized but adding music and video files daily it did get out of hand..and with the search function, where the files were wasn't too important... so now I have a very large number of folders basically labeled by the date I got the music. Is VDJ more efficient with smaller folders or if i placed all music files in one folder and all video fiels in another folder... they would each be really big. Any thoughts?

Personally I file in windows by year, and have the "genre" field completed for specific music types EG. xmas, country, motown etc.

For future reference you can use google to search the forum.
For example: "folder" site:virtualdj.com
Works a lot better than the inbuilt forum search :)
