Really hoping someone can help me before i throw my xmas pressie out the window, i cannot seem to get my sound configuration right (speakers playing & headphones monitoring) i have a pc tower setup with pc speakers connected to internal soundcard, am running vdj home, headphones connected to mixtrack.
It cant be this hard! any help greatly appreciated :o)

First of all, VDJ Home WILL NOT WORK with the Mixtrack Pro.
To use a controller with VDJ you need to use either the version that shipped in the box with the controller, or the full Pro version.
This is all clearly stated on the product comparison page and in the FAQ and all over this forum.
Second, when you're using an external mixer & soundcard (i.e. a Mixtrack Pro) the idea is to connect your speakers to the output of that - not use your computer speakers and internal card.
Once you have the correct version of VDJ installed and have your speakers connected to the MTP ouput, you should either follow the instructions supplied with the product, or read the guide here.

Thanks for that, i was bought the mixtrack for xmas and it came with traktor software (which the previous owner had already verified so i cannot use) but thought i could easily use it with my virtual DJ as thats what i was using before and prefer, i had looked at all the info around the site and FAQ but couldnt find the answer i was looking for so tried here, new speakers it is then :o)
