Hey guys, i have Virtual Dj PRO and i've just purchased the Numark M4 mixer and a corded microphone that plugs into it.
The mic puts out no sound, its plugged in properly, im thinking its got to do with the mixer, because ive grabbed a separate PA amp and plugged the mic in and it works, the controls are very basic on the mixer for the microphone (all the volumes, thats it)
someone please help? im stumped!
My set up is:
My external mixer is hooked up to my laptop with a RCA to 3.5mm(male) cord just in the headphone jack, then RCA cords coming out of the main output on the mixer to my speakers.

If your mic does not work, maybe you should return the mixer. You say you have VDJ PRO, so why haven't you registered the software?
