Topic: How to create a multi-song intro?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi:

I want to create an intro of around 30-40 seconds with little snippets of different songs. Not sure what the actual name of that is, but I assume Intro.
I'd like to mash different parts of 20 or so songs and record it for future use.


Is that something I can do with VDJ? Or do I need some other software?

You would be better off with some sort of sequencing software. That would be better for putting something like that together.

I use Multiquence but there are probably free alternatives available.

You have 99 decks to work with, those plus some script magic and you could do it. Oh and dont forget about your sampler, it can be used as well.

Would Ableton Live be such software? I don't have it, but thinking of downloading the trial version.
