Thinking about getting these for my wireless mics, I have the original white ones for my wireless headphones and they are pretty good but these (though more expensive) advertise as having a longer charge but only half the lifespan at 500 cycles. Is it worth it or should I just get the older versions and save a few bucks?

I use it in canon speedlight flashes. It's the best accumulators in the world.

The old ones are def. the best I've used, had some for my old kodak camera too but included those with the camera when I sold it (got a canon t3i now) so the only ones I have now are aaa for my headphones and computer mice. Guess I may go ahead and spend the extra $7 to get the xx, they have a faster discharge and shorter life span, but I'm thinking the extra 500mah might come in handy for long karaoke events
