I'm using the skin that's supposed to go with my controller, but wish that it has some other features. This may be a simple answer question, but can I use a skin that's for another controller with my controller? I'd like to try a few others to see if I can see all four wave forms at once, maybe it has more or less of something I need/don't need, but I don't know if it'll work with the controller I have.

The skin has no effect on the functionality of your controller and vice-versa. You can use any skin of your own choice, even one that's made to look like another controller.

you can use any skin with any controller.. The skin is just a visual representation of what the software is doing. Some find it easier to learn with a skin that looks like their controller, however I personally find them tacky LOL.
