Topic: maya 44 with version 7 (time code quality dilemma)

Hi there. just got a new maya 44 and set it up the same as the djtriple9 youtube tutorial
only problem is that when i configure the timecode, quality is 0% and it's silent
i've done everything in the tutorial to the letter so has anyone else got some advice?
