Topic: Rhythm window by keyboard

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello VDJ lovers!

I'm performing advanced mixing technics and sometimes, I need to contract or expand the rhythm window in order to see if a certain CUE point is set exactly where it must be. The problem is that I got to do it with the mouse wheel 'cause the button "1" (image 1), doens't contract it at maximum way. So...
1 - Is there a way to contract and expand the rhythm window at maximum way using computer keyboard?
2 - Is it possible set buttons "1", "2" and "3" in keyboard shortcuts?

Thanks

Map 3 buttons on your keyboard with the following commands:

zoom 'far'

zoom 'default'

zoom 'near'

Quote :

zoom : set the zoom level on the rhythm display. use 'zoom "near"', 'zoom "default"', 'zoom "far"' for the pre-set zoom levels, or use 'zoom 42%' to get to a precise zoom level.

I assume those values work fine for you, but you can also map them as ..
zoom +5% (or different value)
and...
zoom -5%
to work like the zoom slider ;)
(in case someone needs that)
