Topic: Another NetSearch Question

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello Guys :)

I have a strange problem with NetSearch and was wondering if anyone else has the same problem.

Is NetSearch, Censored, filtered, Moderated in any way ? I ask because there are some tunes
I just cant access, strange thing is that these tunes are always current popular tunes, here 2 examples...

Taio Kruz: World in Our Hands
Flo Rida: Whistle

Putting these into NetSearch will bring up a long list of various versions and mixes, none of which can be
loaded (Error On Deck)

As I said these are just 2 examples, there are many more, strangely though 99% of them are present or recent
hits, older stuff is never a problem ^^

just wondering if they are somehow being blocked ?

All help and advice appreciated.....Phil (Wolfie)

Spelling the artist name incorrectly ain't gonna help!

Working fine here (with the 30 second clips)

Both songs work for me via NetSearch.

Have you updated to 7.1 (released yesterday) this may fix your problem.

Will give it a try :)

Have had the problem a few weeks now and was beginning to think that my provider
has some sort of media filter installed (I am in Germany) perhaps i am just being paranoid.

Strange, 10 minutes after posting the problem here, everything worked fine, for a few days
now anyway, but now its back, this time with some techno stuff.

I just got the audio files, but the videos did not load. Germany? Paranoid? You do know they are watching you?

got a question, if i upgrade to prem. and get netsearch, does it give a option for clean versions of the songs

I would say yes, in most cases. The selections can change by the hour, even minutes. However, it may not be listed as clean, and you will have to listen yourself. There are mistakes. I had a song from TMCentury listed as clean, and it was dirty, dirty dirty.

thanks man and his music, I've got some Xmas Parties coming up, and can't afford to chance it. guess i'll keep using itunes.......... its got to be something out there with clean music on it

The "forward_reverse" effect assigned to a button is always handy in case you get caught out!
