Topic: Something similar to Firetext for Mac?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

So the more and more I look at this firetext app the more I'm interested in it. But the instability of Windows Vista led me to buy all mac's long ago and I don't plan on switching back any time soon. Anyone know of something similar to this that works with OSX?
