I bought a 4mx hercules dj console some days ago and i´ve been mixing ever since. My problem is, that one of my earphones doesn´t seem to work, only my right earphone works. This probem started since i bought the console, i´ve tryed pluging it in diferent positions in the mixer, tried two diferent headphones (still only work in one earphone) and as well tried variouse things from the internet such as changing the output and input in vdj config. I don´t think this is a headphone problem because they work fine with my ipod and normally in my pc.

Which software version of VirtualDJ are you using ?
If your Hercules came with Limited Edition of VIrtualDJ, register the serial number (key) of the LE version to your Profile Page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and download the latest available LE version from your Download Center.. http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
Make sure you follow instructions given to the above link (Setup Guide).

I tried installing the latest version and put the setting in virtual dj configuration but my left earphone still doesnt work, when i connect it to my pc or my ipod it does work but somehow it doesn´t when i place it in the 4mx console. Could it be relate to a cable problem or maybe that my headphones are using an extension to connect to the console?

Try using another pair of headphones to see if you get the same problem. Make sure that you use the headphones own built-in cable only. Don't use any extensions.
If you get the same problem with other headphones, then it may be a hardware fault with the headphone socket of the 4-Mx.
