Topic: I need a logo. I REALLY need a logo

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hey VDJ fam,

I rarely ask for help but I NEED a logo. I know that a lot of you guys do this kind of stuff in your sleep.

I'm hoping that a few of you can help a fellow DJ out.

I need a logo for my business cards, my website, hats, t-shirts, to customize my equipment and for BRANDING myself and my company.

My name is DJ City
My company is CityLife Productions
The initial sof my company are C.L.P.

I'm a Hip Hop (Urban) DJ
I play clubs, halls and mobile.
I'm from NYC and play in D.C.

Please help if you can. Be creative but not CRAZY. I like simple but not TOO simple. I would like something I could easily have printed on hats (Baseball caps) and t-shirts. I will help you in kind if I can ;-)

I just so happened to have made a picture of a graffiti city and edited it to have your name ALL OVER IT!!! anyways I dont know how ima give it to you so you should just give me an email address to send it to and I will glady do so, unless you know of another way

i started on this , what is your deadline ??

if you like it and wanna return a favor , i am currently in the market for a really cool scratch remix

for "love potion no.9" ..... the part where that gets kinda tough is, i need it to have excerpts from the original 50's version

and then it has to segue into the herb alpert instrumental version from the 60's .......
 


My partner just made up these for me about a month ago, if you like these I could give you his contact info and you two can chat it up.

sorry there is an issue with my screen, need to fix the levels...
 
here is a smooth business card type design... not sure if it is too dark or not, It looks good on my screen though, the logo looks like wet glass, never done that before :-)



Actually it lost a bit of the contrast on my tablet screen, not sure if thats an issue of the tablet or my laptop...

here is another that would probably lend itself better to embroidery for hats shirts etc... I call it chocolate city lol, I really like the deep dark bronze gradient of this one's background... edit but it doesn't translate to the internet :-(

Nice idea Andrew.... visual and meaning is exactly there....

i hope this is useful. For any small items like a hat , the text and contact info are going to have to be

a priority over the graphics , and plain to see ..... Speaking of graphics , this has a little NYC flavor, invoking

imagery of a great city. I've looked and i haven't found good images evocative of D.C. so far ... i mean,

that would lend themselves well to the present purpose .....i'll try some more

Hey guys I could definetly use a logo too. :o) My Dj name is Dj JustNyce, Company: JC Productions. I am a Club & Mobile Dj. I specialize in Top 40, RnB, Old School, HipHop, Reggae, House, Classic Soul & 50's thru present music genres. DJ, VJ & Karaoke Services. You guys did some nice work for Dj City. If you can I could use a hookup too, Thanx.
