Hello, I am new to VJ and these forms, tried to search Pioneer and nothing came up. I have come from old school started with vinyal, went to Numark and now have the above. I have never used lap tops VJ serato etc, and never had a lot of exposure to them.
Been playing on the VJ home and with the effects loops etc looks real cool and thinking of buying the Pro
But heres my questions
1. Can I hook it all up to my kit
2. Can I use the 2 xCDJs and use VJ as a third input, loops effects etc
3. And will it actually enhance things or is it just going to add more kit to carry
Thank you all

i think there is a problem with your "D" key, it's vDj lol
yes you can hook up that kit in vdj pro no problem. The cdj's are natively supported HID controllers, so will be plug and play although you can test this in vdj home for the first 10 minutes when you open the software. The mixer is not supported but if your just doing video djing you really just need the crossfader which can be done easily in the mapper.
The way you want to set up is not ideal, you should just use vdj as the brain and the cdj's as the controller and soundcard, if you want to use 3 or 4 decks you can map a button to change the deck each cdj controls in the software.
Having software won't make your sets better, but it will improve your organisation and the ways you can interract with the music/video you are playing. You can also upgrade your software's features and operation very easily and keep the same control surface eg. if you wan't new effects to use you can download them as apposed to buying dedicated hardware that will cost 4 times as much as most suitable vst's, you can even get a lot of free ones from the internet. eg2. if you don't like the operation of a button you can change it using vdjscript which is much more powerful than competitors software.

Thank you Synthet1c, I thought that might be the case, CDJ 900 come with rekodbox which is a pretty good orginiser. I really have no idea (coming from the old school) of using lap tops etc. but it seems to be the craze. I love using the CDJ's as the master controls and my ear too make sure its in time.
And yes the D button seems to go missing some times lol
